Mint Catering to operate the cafe at the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2010

Mint Catering are delighted to announce that they have successfully won the tender to run the cafe at the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, in London’s Hyde Park, for the second year running. This year’s Pavilion, the 10th to grace the Serpentine, is designed by award winning French architect Jean Nouvel and is rendered in a vivid red that, in a play of opposites, contrasts with the green of its park setting. It features red table tennis tables, red hammocks, red tables and chairs, red chess sets and even red coffee machines and Smeg fridges.

The cafe will specialise in serving a wide selection of classic sandwiches, salads and cakes. As well as offering a wide range of coffees and soft drinks, the cafe is also licensed and a selection of beers, ciders, wines and spirits will be available. The cafe will operate 7 days a week from 10:00 – 18:00 and runs from 10th July until the 17th October. Under the terms of the arrangement, Mint Catering will also be providing the catering for many of the Gallery’s exclusive evening events.
